Namaste Fukuoka　Executive Committee Chairman　Kumar Dharmendra

Attended an Fukuoka introductory event held in Delhi, India. "Are they all wearing kimonos?" Kumar wondered and wanted to try going to Fukuoka.

He met a lot of people when he came to Fukuoka.

The host family he lived with, the strawberry farmers he met when he was President of the International Student Association, and kind friends who helped when organising the event are still good friends now.

Kumar says, "People in Fukuoka are kind."

The "Namaste Fukuoka" event was initiated by Kumar. It was started out of a desire to let the people of Fukuoka, who have been so kind to him, know more about India.

The event is full of Kumar's ideas, such as the appreance of the god Ganesha and traditional dances, Last year, 40,000 people visited the event.

The people of Fukuoka love Kumar's cute smile, which he shows from time to time.
