Poudel Susil is from Nepal.

He came to Fukuoka following his brother who had arrived earlier as an exchange student.

Before I knew it, 15 years had passed.

He became the owner of an Indian curry restaurant.

The city of Fukuoka is compact and easy to live in, says Susil.

On my days off, I ride my motorcycle and look at the sea.

And one more thing: a ramen shop next door to the restaurant I manage.

If there is a problem, he immediately jumps in and yells, "Oyaji!"

They are an inseparable and important part of the family, playing together as a family and moving into the neighborhood.
