Translator Christine Pearson From the United States

Christine lives in Kitakyushu City.

She came to Japan from the United States as an English teacher and now works as a translator.

She has two children and makes loving, homemade lunch boxes for them every day.

Her unique recipe for tamagoyaki is her children's favorite.

Now, her kids are teenagers.

When they were born, she felt anxious and clueless.

During that time, she discovered a child-rearing support center in Kitakyushu.

Christine is grateful not only for the center's comprehensive facilities but also for the staff.

She made mom friends there and now enjoys a happy life in Kitakyushu.

Besides her job as a translator, she is also involved in new projects related to children.

This video follows Christine’s life as she balances parenting and work.
