The Fukuoka International Environmental Management Program is a training program that invites environmental department officials from friendship partner cities to Fukuoka to learn about Japan and Fukuoka's environmental technology and policies.

Environmental Cooperation Projects
Environmental cooperation projects utilizing Fukuoka's environmental technology and know-how.
Hanoi, Vietnam
Utilizing the the Ministry of the Environment's "City-to-City Collaboration for Zero Carbon Society" program, we are promoting decarbonization and environmental improvement in Hanoi City. In collaboration with companies from Fukuoka, we share our environmental technology expertise and conduct workshops to facilitate these goals.

We continue our cooperation by supporting the participation of Fukuoka-based environmental companies in the "International Conference on New Technology for Ecology and Environment" held in Nanjing City.
Bangkok, Thailand
In response to the increase in waste due to the rise in tourists and urban development, we are implementing technical guidance that leads to the creation of a recycling system and supporting public awareness initiatives for waste reduction from the fiscal year 2024.
