Fukuoka Prefecture and the Fukuoka International Exchange Foundation Held the First Information Exchange Meeting on International Students

On Tuesday, July 1, 2025, Fukuoka Prefecture and the Fukuoka International Exchange Foundation Hosted the first information exchange meeting focused on international students. The event aimed to connect businesses considering hiring international graduates with universities, technical colleges, and language schools across the prefecture.

Currently, around 19,000 international students are enrolled in educational institutions throughout Fukuoka Prefecture—including universities, junior colleges, vocational schools, and Japanese language schools. Many of these students possess strong Japanese language skills and a deep understanding of local culture and customs, making them valuable contributors to regional companies after graduation.

The event drew a large number of participants from both the business and academic communities, and the atmosphere was lively and full of meaningful exchanges.
