Conducted exchanges in the area of basketball
In April 2023, the prefecture and the State of Hawaii signed a Declaration of Confirmation and have been conducting exchanges.
Especially in the field of basketball, the prefecture dispatched a selected high school basketball team to Hawaii in August, and the Hawaii State High School Basketball Team came to Fukuoka in November. The purpose of this exchange program is to improve athletic skills and to promote cross-cultural understanding through international exchange.
