Wear the Ao dai, the traditional Vietnamese costume, and try to set a Guinness record!

Fukuoka concluded a friendship agreement with Hanoi, Socialist Republic of Vietnam in 2008 and has been deepening exchanges in various fields.
An event to celebrate the Vietnamese Lunar New Year (Tet) will be held at Tenjin Central Park.
The event will consist of the following two major parts.

 Fukuoka Ao dai Fashion Week 2024

Date: Thursday, January 18 - Sunday, January 21, 2024
Venue: In front of Kihin Kan in Tenjin Chuo Park (18th and 19th)
　　　Tenjin Central Park Lawn (20th, 21st)
　　　*Same venue as the Lunar New Year Festival
Activities：Fashion show of Vietnamese traditional costume "Ao dai", etc.

Vietnamese Lunar New Year Festival 2024

Date: Saturday, January 20 and Sunday, January 21, 2024, 9:00～17:00
Venue: Tenjin Central Park Lawn
Activities：Vietnamese food, crafts, etc. for sale, stage performances

From 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 20 during the event,A Guinness record attempt will be held at Tenjin Central Park Lawn.
1,500 participants wearing "ao dai" will draw the shape of the country of Vietnam.Those who participate will receive a free 'ao dai'! (First 500 arrivals)Please participate without hesitation !
